Photos of people

The model follows one body in one still. Small choices in the photo change how readable the dance is.

Use a full-body photo when you can

Head, shoulders, torso, and legs in frame give the model more of the person to move. A crop that cuts at the chin or the waist leaves less for the dance. If only the upper body is in the shot, the clip will focus on arms and shoulders.

Use even light on the face

A clear face is how people recognize you in a 6-second clip. Harsh shadows on one side of the head make the face harder to keep stable from frame to frame.

Keep the background simple

A plain wall, a park, or a room with one focus works. Busy posters, mirrors, and crowds give the model extra shapes to guess at.

One subject only

This AI dance generator follows a single body. You can upload one adult or one pet. A second person, a second pet, or a person holding a pet is rejected.

Do not stand with a bright window behind you

Backlight turns the face into a silhouette. The dance still runs, but the person is harder to see.

Do not cover the face with sunglasses, a mask, or a heavy filter

The clip is built from the photo. If the eyes and mouth are hidden, the face in the video stays hidden or smears.

Photos of dogs

Use a full-body photo of one dog, with even light and a simple background. Do not put a person in the frame. A second dog will be rejected. Side or front both work if the whole animal is visible from head to tail. A tight face crop, a tiny dog in a huge yard, or a shot taken through a window screen usually fails the body check.

Works

Gets rejected

  • Rejected photo: Tight face crop, no body

    Tight face crop, no body

  • Do: Whole dog in frame — head to tail, not a tight face crop.
  • Do: One dog only. A person holding a dog is rejected.
  • Do: Even light. A dark silhouette against a bright window usually fails.
  • Do: Simple background. A busy dog park with other animals in view is a risk.

Photos of cats

Use a full-body photo of one cat, facing the camera, with even light and a simple background. Do not put a person in the frame. A second cat will be rejected. A tight face crop, a tiny cat on a huge bed, or a shot through a window screen usually fails the body check. Long-haired cats and dark cats need plenty of light so the face and fur stay readable.

  • Do: Whole cat in frame — head to tail, not a tight face crop.
  • Do: One cat only. A person holding a cat is rejected.
  • Do: Simple background. A busy room with other animals in view is a risk.
  • Do: Face the camera. A cat looking away or in profile is weaker.
  • Don't: Do not put a person in the same frame.
  • Do: Long-haired cats and dark cats need plenty of light.

Why a photo is rejected

This photo looks like it contains nudity or sexual content, which isn't allowed here. Please upload a different photo.
More than one person
We can only use photos with one person. Crop to just one person or pick another photo.
A person and a pet together
One subject per photo — either you or your pet, not both.
No person or pet found
We couldn't find a person or a pet in this photo.
Looks under 18
This person looks like they might be under 18. We don't make videos of minors.
Celebrity or public figure
This looks like a celebrity or public figure. You can only use photos of yourself or an adult who agreed to this.
Body not visible
We need to see the head, shoulders and upper body. Try a full-body or 3/4 photo.

Questions people ask

What if my photo is rejected?

Can I make a video of someone else?

Only of an adult who has agreed to it. Photos of children, celebrities and public figures are blocked when you upload.

Does the dance look exactly like the sample?

The motion follows the same style as the sample for that dance — the energy, the kind of steps, the way the arms move. Exact counts, hand height, and timing vary from video to video. The sample is a guide, not a frame-by-frame copy.

What if the video comes out wrong?

If generation fails, that video is returned to your account automatically. If the finished file is clearly broken — the person is missing, the body falls apart, or the face is unusable — email us within 7 days with the video link. The refund policy explains when we re-run it. A dance that looks a little different from the sample is expected, not a defect.
